On January 7th 2010, PA State Police, Ephrata Station, Criminal Investigation Unit, investigated a domestic violet incident. Prior to the domestic incident, John Lewis Jr. (48) threatened to burn the victim with a blow torch at their residence Later, during the domestic incident, the victim sustained a broken left eye socket, fractured ribs, and severe burns to her upper left arm, left side (rib area), stomach area, back and left buttock as she slept in bed. The victim was taken by a friend later that day to a local Lancaster Co. Hospital where she was transported and admitted to the Burn Unit at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Delaware County, PA for treatment. On 1-14-10, John Lewis Jr. was taken into custody without incident at a friend’s house located at 1633 iron bridge road. Lancaster Co. District Attorney’s Office, Domestic Violence Unit, approved charges against the accused. John was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $100,000.00 cash bail.
